What will you do?
You will contribute to the implementation of the Tec21 Educational Model by designing challenging, flexible, and student-centered learning experiences. You will help shape new generations of professionals by fostering the development of competencies, critical thinking, and a global mindset. You will enhance the academic experience through inclusive and collaborative environments, and actively participate in academic extension programs such as consulting, institutional outreach, and extracurricular activities. Additionally, you will conduct relevant and applied research, advancing knowledge and strengthening the academic presence of Tecnológico de Monterrey. 

Your main challenges will be:

• Teaching and designing learning experiences aligned with the Tec21 Model, while contributing to curriculum updates and competency-based assessments.
• Conducting high-impact research in strategic areas, supporting knowledge transfer and academic publishing.
• Actively participating in extension programs, faculty development, and complementary academic activities such as symposia, conferences, and exhibitions.
• Collaborating in academic committees, promoting continuous improvement and compliance with institutional policies.
• Strengthening external relationships with universities, institutions, and academic networks both nationally and internationally.
• Efficiently managing material and financial resources assigned to your role, in accordance with current policies.
• Acting with institutional integrity, upholding the Tec’s Code of Ethics, Vision, and academic, administrative, and research standards.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a transformative educator and scholar with a profile of academic excellence to join our team in the field of Computer Science or Artificial Intelligence, with the following qualifications:

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a related field, obtained from a university ranked in the global Top 100 in the discipline, or from Tecnológico de Monterrey with at least 3 years of professional experience outside the institution.
• Active research trajectory, with at least three publications in indexed journals (JCR) within the last three years.
• Proven academic leadership, with potential to coordinate faculty teams in educational innovation, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
• Demonstrated teaching experience, preferably in undergraduate or graduate programs.
• Strong educational innovation skills, with openness to emerging technologies and active learning methodologies.
• Proficiency in English, with a TOEFL score of 580 or higher.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Passion for education and a commitment to developing leaders who will transform their communities.
