Full-time Professor in Mechatronics

Location: Laguna Campus

What will you do?

You will teach undergraduate and master’s degree classes in the field of Mechatronics, following the institutional quality standards and creating spaces for students to actively and responsibly participate in the construction and evaluation of their learning. You will also support student projects and research/consulting initiatives assigned to the Mechatronics Department.

• Teach undergraduate courses according to academic quality standards and the principles of the Tec 21 Educational Model, complying with academic and administrative regulations in a timely and proper manner.
• Stay competent in the use of technology to support teaching and enhance student learning.
• Develop and support strategic projects for the Department in the areas of consulting, student involvement, and business engagement to support the positioning of programs directly or indirectly managed by the department.
• Participate in committees, academies, or projects at the department, division, campus, or system level as required and engage in collegial activities where you and other colleagues participate actively and professionally.

Your main challenges will be:

• Achieving a memorable and high-quality academic experience for students.
• Supporting students and student groups in workshops or courses.
• Leadership.

What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Mechatronics.
• Professional experience abroad.
• Preferably teaching experience.
• Preferably professional experience in the industry or with industry-related projects.
• Advanced level of English (minimum B2 score or 600 TOEFL points).
