1. What will you do?

As a Full-Time Professor in Digital Transformation and Business Intelligence, you will be part of the School of Engineering and Sciences and contribute to educating professionals who will shape the future of Mexico and the world. You will engage in teaching, research, educational innovation, and industry and academic engagement, primarily in the areas of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.

2. How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Teaching courses and learning units related to Information Technology and Digital Transformation, particularly in areas such as:
• Blockchain.
• Information Technology Management.
• Data Management, Analytics, and Visualization.
• The use of AI tools for information analysis.
• Digitalization strategies for processes and businesses.
• Conducting research in Computing and related areas, particularly Information Technology and Digital Transformation, contributing to the development of new knowledge and disseminating research findings through publications in academic journals and conferences.
• Conducting educational innovation research to promote the design and implementation of new teaching and learning methods in Computing areas related to Information Technology and Digital Transformation.
• Participating in academic committees and faculty bodies related to the Computing Department, particularly in the areas of Information Technology and Digital Transformation.
• Participating in faculty working groups focused on the design of new academic programs and the continuous improvement of existing curricula.
• Supporting student recruitment and retention initiatives within academic programs associated with the Computing Department.

3. What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Software Engineering, or a related field. Preferred: degree from a Top 50 university worldwide; minimum Top 100.
• 3+ years of experience in teaching, research, educational innovation, consulting, or information systems development.
• Ability to exercise academic and professional leadership and incorporate emerging technologies and innovative methodologies into education.
• Interest in developing a high-impact academic career and achieving recognition among academic and scientific peers.
• Proactivity, self-management, adaptability to change, and strong collaboration skills.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple projects, priorities, and responsibilities.
