Full-Time Professor in Computer Science

What will you do?

• Teach specialized courses in network infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Design and update curricula aligned with international standards and industry needs.
• Supervise theses and research projects for undergraduate and graduate students.
• Lead research groups and lines of study, and participate in global academic and scientific networks.
• Publish results in high-impact academic outlets and seek funding for innovative projects.
• Collaborate with companies, research centers, and government organizations to transfer knowledge.

What are we looking for?

• Academic Degree: PhD obtained from a university ranked within the Top 100 QS World University Rankings Global or By Subject.
• Areas of specialization:
  • Data network infrastructure and architecture.
  • Cybersecurity (network security, cryptography, defense against advanced threats).
  • Artificial Intelligence (AI), including applied and theoretical research in areas such as machine learning, computer vision, natural language processing, or AI for security.
• Teaching experience: Minimum of 5 years teaching at the professional or graduate level, preferably at institutions of high academic prestige.
• Academic output: Indexed publications in high-impact journals (Q1/Q2), participation in international conferences, and leadership of funded research projects.
• Applied professional experience: Experience working or collaborating with industry on projects related to IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, or AI-based solution development.

Competencies and Skills

• Strong technical expertise in protocols, hardware, and software for enterprise and telecommunications networks.
• Advanced knowledge of cybersecurity regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Ability to design and carry out cutting-edge research projects.
• Skill in integrating teaching with applied research and technology transfer.
• Clear and effective communication in both Spanish and English (minimum C1 level in both languages).
• Ability to motivate, inspire, and guide students toward academic and professional excellence.
