What will you do?
In this position, your main challenge and opportunity will be to teach courses in automation, control, industrial networks, cyber-physical systems, and other related topics, contributing to the comprehensive training of future graduates of the Bachelor in Mechatronics Engineering program. Additionally, you are expected to develop applied research that generates innovative solutions for society's major challenges.
Your main challenges will be:

Teaching courses primarily in English for the Bachelor in Mechatronics (BME) program, as well as in Spanish when required.

Ensuring full compliance with learning objectives and evaluation standards of the syllabus, following the quality and rigor guidelines of the School and Department.

Preparing teaching materials for both classroom lectures and laboratory sessions for assigned training units.

Leading instruction in both classroom and laboratory settings.

Contributing as lead or corresponding author to articles accepted and published in Q1/Q2 journals, in accordance with the metrics established by the School and Department.

Participating as lead author or co-author in funding proposals for applied research, following departmental metrics.

Advising or co-advising doctoral students according to established academic metrics.
What are we looking for?

Ph.D. in Mechatronics, Electrical/Electronic Engineering (Automation, Control, Robotics), or Mechanical Engineering (Automation).

Proven international experience of at least 1 year.

An average of 2 Q1/Q2 publications per year over the last 3 years.

H-index of 10 (Scopus).

English proficiency: C1 level or 600 TOEFL points.

Proven experience/participation in projects with external funding (national and/or international).

Active collaboration in international research groups with Top 100 universities (by institution) or Top 50 (by subject).
