The School of Medicine and Health Sciences is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to join our dynamic team at the Mexico City campus, focusing on groundbreaking research in precision medicine and health sciences. The postdoctoral fellow will collaborate with leading faculty, including Distinguished Professor [Name], to advance research projects in areas such as precision nutrition, gene-diet interactions, and innovative healthcare solutions. The candidate will be part of an ambitious growth initiative aimed at establishing our campus as a leader in precision medicine research and its applications.:
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute clinical research projects, including clinical trials, to explore the impact of gene-diet interactions on health outcomes.
- Collaborate with national and international research centers to develop joint projects that enhance precision medicine.
- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses, mentoring students and contributing to their academic growth.
- Support the organization and execution of national and international conferences and congresses related to health sciences.
- Conduct advanced statistical and genetic analyses, contribute to funding applications, and draft scientific manuscripts.
- Actively contribute to departmental initiatives by generating knowledge through research projects, publishing scientific articles, and applying for funding.
- Participate in training activities and mentoring for undergraduate and postgraduate students, promoting the development of human resources in the field.
Qualifications:
- PhD in Sciences or related areas of Health Sciences, such as Biotechnology, Nutrition, Food Engineering, Genetics, Biochemistry, or Biology.
- 3-5 years of experience in research, teaching, or relevant industry roles.
- Proven track record in scientific writing, with 5-10 publications in Q1 and Q2 journals.
- TOEFL score of 600 points or equivalent proficiency.
