1. What will you do?
As a Bioengineering Professor, you will join one of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the best universities in the world, and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outreach.
This position is key to strengthening the Process Engineering area, consolidating the academic offering in fundamental disciplines such as transport phenomena (momentum, heat, and mass) and unit operations design. Given the evolution of our curricula in IBT (Biotechnology Engineering) and IAL (Food Engineering), the selected candidate will be a cornerstone in developing the engineering competencies demanded by new professional profiles. We are looking for a versatile profile that not only boosts bioengineering but also achieves a seamless integration with biology-focused courses, driving an interdisciplinary approach within the faculty. The goal is to strengthen the Bioengineering program within the areas of transport phenomena, momentum/heat/mass transfer, bioseparations, bioreactors, unit operations design, bioprocesses, etc., within the School of Engineering and Sciences.
From this role, you will contribute to training highly competitive students, strengthening the faculty body, and enhancing the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey both nationally and internationally, through an academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.
2. How will you do it?
Your main challenges will be:

Design and deliver rigorous and challenging learning experiences aligned with international standards of academic excellence.

Strengthen and update the Bioengineering program, contributing to its academic differentiation.

Generate impact through relevant research, networking/outreach, or academic production.

Collaborate strategically with the faculty body to consolidate the School's institutional positioning.
3. What are we looking for?

Ph.D. in Biotechnology or a related field.

Experience in any of the following fields: transport phenomena, momentum/heat/mass transfer, bioseparations, bioreactors, unit operations design, bioprocesses, etc.

Experience in teaching and student mentoring.

Advanced English (B2 level or higher).
