Full-Time Professor of Sustainable Technologies and Civil Engineering

What will you do?

Strengthen the areas of Chemical Engineering, Energy Processes, Sustainability, Circular Economy, and Innovation. We are looking for candidates with experience in the design and analysis of energy processes, corporate sustainability, energy efficiency, and circular economy. Selected candidates will teach key subjects in the curriculum and develop high-impact research and innovation projects.

Your main challenges will be:

• Conduct research in the area.
• Participate in extension/consulting projects defined by the department.
• Develop educational materials for courses and publish outcomes in formats such as books and articles.
• Foster educational innovation, delivering teaching with a high level of innovation.

What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or related fields.
• Teaching experience in areas such as integration and scaling of energy processes, nanomaterials, intensification, circular economy, or sustainability.
• Strong written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum level B2 or equivalent to 550 TOEFL points).
• Ability to prepare funding proposals, experimental plans, and technical reports.
• Capability to conduct applied research independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
