Full-Time Professor of Bioengineering

What will you do?

Strengthen the Bioengineering Department, specifically in the area of Biotechnology with a focus on Bioprocesses. Selected candidates will teach key courses in the curriculum and develop high-impact research and innovation projects.

Your main challenges will be:

• Conduct research.

• Participate in outreach/consulting projects defined by the department.

• Develop educational materials for courses and publish results in books, articles, and other academic products.

• Educational innovation, with a strong focus on innovative teaching methods.

What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Biotechnology, Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Chemical Sciences, Food Science, or Environmental Sciences with a specialization in Bioprocesses.

• Teaching and professional experience in the industry or in industry-related projects within the specialty, at an international level.

• Strong written and oral communication skills in Spanish and English (minimum level B2 or equivalent to 550 TOEFL points).

• Ability to conduct applied research independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
