What will you do?
In this role, your main objective will be to ensure the academic delivery of the School of Engineering and Sciences (EIC) at Campus Laguna. This includes professional-level teaching and training activities, as well as responsibilities in academic management, research, and continuing education. Ensuring this delivery involves maintaining high academic quality in all areas, with a strong emphasis on implementing the Tecnológico de Monterrey’s educational model across its programs.
This also entails working closely with the Campus Director to support recruitment, selectivity, and scholarship processes, as well as with Department Heads to build and lead a team of inspiring faculty members who bring the academic offering to life.
Your main challenges will be:
- Implement the strategies defined at the national level by the School of Engineering and Sciences on campus.
- Coordinate with program, entry, and department directors to ensure:
- Academic quality and rigor.
- Excellent service and support for students and faculty.
- Holistic student development.
- Faculty growth and development.
- A positive organizational climate.
- Efficient use of academic and institutional resources.
- Attract and enroll top students, meeting the campus’s recruitment targets.
- Collaborate with the Student Leadership and Development (LiFE) area to implement the student advising and support model.
- Coordinate interaction between the School of Engineering and Sciences on campus and other institutional entities.

What are we looking for?
- You hold a Ph.D. in Engineering or Sciences (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technologies, Mechatronics, Engineering Sciences, etc.).
- You speak English at an advanced level (minimum B2 or 600 TOEFL points).
- You have at least 5 years of teaching experience and experience in academic leadership (as Program, Entry, or Department Director).
- You have experience in at least one of the following areas: research, consulting, corporate training, or educational innovation.
- You demonstrate key competencies such as innovation, youth engagement, public relations, interpersonal communication, proactiveness, and a strong results orientation.
