What will you do?

As a Postdoctoral Researcher, your main challenge will be to conduct and support high-level scientific research to identify and analyze genetic, dietary, and environmental factors associated with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) in Mexican women. You will generate evidence that contributes to the development of prevention, diagnosis, and treatment strategies that are more precise and culturally adapted

 

How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Designing, planning, and conducting experiments and studies within the framework of the project.
  • Performing statistical, bioinformatic, and genomic analyses of the collected data.
  • Collaborating with researchers, clinicians, and technicians for the collection and validation of biological samples.
  • Writing and publishing scientific articles in high-impact indexed journals (Q1).
  • Participating in presentations, seminars, and conferences related to project progress.
  • Searching for and drafting national and international grant applications to secure funding for the project’s continuation.
  • Providing academic support and follow-up to graduate students involved in the project.

 

What are we looking for? 

  • PhD in Biomedical Sciences, Molecular Biology, Genetics, Epidemiology, or related fields.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in scientific research, preferably in women’s health, genetics, or epidemiology.
  • Proven experience in omics data analysis (genomics, transcriptomics, metabolomics).
  • Publications in indexed journals and participation in collaborative research projects.
