What will you do?

 As a Bioengineering Professor, you will join one of the leading educational institutions in Latin America, consistently positioned among the best universities in the world, recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international projection.

This position is key to strengthening the academic program of Agri-Food Biosystems Engineering (IAG) and Biotechnology Engineering (IBT), consolidating the academic offer in fundamental disciplines such as Sustainable Food Production, Technology and Innovation in Agri-Food Systems, Precision Agriculture, Digital Agriculture, Improvement of Biosystems with Genetics (breeding), Nutrition and Health of Biosystems, and/or Agrobiotechnology. Given the evolution of our study plans in IAG and IBT, the selected candidate will be a fundamental piece in developing the competencies demanded by the new professional profiles. We are looking for a versatile and interdisciplinary profile at the intersection of biotechnology and agri-food systems, with openness to expanding their area of expertise. This is with the aim of strengthening the IAG and IBT programs within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

From this role, you will contribute to the formation of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the faculty body, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey in the national and international arenas, through an academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

How will you do it?

Your main challenges will be: • Design and deliver rigorous and challenging learning experiences, aligned with international standards of academic excellence. • Strengthen and update the Bioengineering program, contributing to its academic differentiation. • Generate impact through research, connection, or relevant academic production. • Collaborate strategically with the faculty body to consolidate the School's institutional positioning.

What are we looking for?

PhD in Agri-Food Biosystems, Agronomy, Horticulture, Agrobiotechnology, or related field. Experience in any of the following fields: agrobiotechnology, precision agriculture, sustainable or regenerative agriculture, horticulture, genetic breeding. Experience as a teacher and in student guidance. Advanced English (English level B2 or higher).
