What will you do?

As a Full-Time Professor in the Department of Computer Science, you will join one of the leading higher education institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the world’s top universities and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.

This position responds to the need to strengthen the academic team in the area of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics, with the goal of enriching academic training and disciplinary development within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of highly competitive students and to the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey at both national and international levels, through academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

How will you do it?

Your main challenges will include:

• Designing and delivering rigorous and engaging learning experiences in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics, aligned with international standards of academic excellence and the Tec21 educational model.
• Strengthening and updating the ITC (Computer Science and Technology Engineering) and IRS (Robotics and Digital Systems Engineering) programs, contributing to their academic differentiation.
• Generating impact through research, consulting, industry engagement, or relevant academic production aligned with departmental objectives.
• Advising student groups in the area of Computer Science.
• Supporting student recruitment for ITC, IRS, and/or IDM programs.
• Collaborating strategically with the academic community on initiatives that contribute to academic consolidation and institutional positioning.

What are we looking for?

• Doctorate in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Robotics, or related fields.
• Proven experience in teaching and research, as well as consulting with industry in the areas of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and/or Robotics.
• Relevant professional experience in the field.
• Bilingual proficiency in English.
• Preferably graduated from top global universities.

Expected Results

• Positive impact on students with ECOAS evaluations above 9.0 in the areas of Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, and Robotics.
• Development of research and/or consulting aligned with departmental objectives.
• Participation in projects with strategic partners of the Regional Department of Computer Science.
• Active involvement in departmental initiatives and academic committees.
