Full-Time Professor in Computer Science

What will you do?

As a full-time professor, you will be a fundamental pillar at Tecnológico de Monterrey, delivering innovative and high-quality classes in your discipline, aligned with the Tec21 Educational Model. You will contribute to student development in line with the institution’s vision and engage in outreach and/or research activities that enhance both student learning and the prestige of the university.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Ensure compliance with and actively promote the Principles, Vision, and Values of Tecnológico de Monterrey, while adhering to the institution’s Code of Ethics. This includes respecting and applying the General Academic Policies and Regulations, as well as all guidelines related to academic activities, research, knowledge transfer, and administrative management.
• Design and implement vocational outreach strategies targeting high school and middle school students, fostering interest in computer science programs through dissemination activities, workshops, and immersive technological experiences.
• Collaborate with academic and administrative teams in the creation of content, events, and platforms that strengthen the institutional positioning of computer science programs and their social and technological impact.
• Prepare and deliver classes using innovative teaching techniques and educational technologies.
• Provide high-quality academic advising and support to students.
• Engage in intellectual vitality, leadership, and service activities aligned with the teaching faculty pathway.
• Participate in training and institutional initiatives under the Tec21 Model, including Semana Tec, Semestre Tec, and NOVUS projects.
• Take part in institutional activities as agreed with the Department Director.
• Offer academic advising to engineering students enrolled in your courses.

What are we looking for?

• PhD in Computational Technologies, Information Technologies, Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, or related disciplines.
• Proficiency in Python, C++, and C# (preferably for use with Unity and Unreal Engine).
• Experience using tools such as Python (Pandas, NumPy) and SQL to analyze large volumes of data.
• Desirable experience in developing data analytics projects applied to sports.
