1. What will you do?
As Program Entry Director of Industrial Physics Engineering – Monterrey Campus, you will join one of the leading higher education institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the top universities worldwide and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.
This position responds to the need for leading the academic experience of the Industrial Physics Engineering program, monitoring, managing, and promoting the proper development of student competencies, and supporting their connection with academic activities and experiences that strengthen their graduate profile, with the goal of strengthening the Industrial Physics Engineering program within the School of Engineering and Sciences at Campus Monterrey.
From this role, you will contribute to the development of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the academic faculty, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey at both national and international levels, through an academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.
2. How will you do it?
Your main challenges will include:
- Providing guidance to students in the choice of their program, its structure and concentrations, as well as supporting students who wish to change programs.
- Ensuring the academic integration of new students into the program and the correct and complete enrollment in each period.
- Advising students in the selection of Learning Units during the planning and enrollment of their semesters and intensive periods, reinforcing self-management at all times.
- Guiding students in their specialization decisions for the selection of concentrations, professional internship experiences, and international programs.
- Promoting, advising, authorizing, and validating international experiences and various internationalization activities available to students, while monitoring the program’s internationalization indicators.
- Identifying, promoting, and advising on participation in academic distinctions, as well as participating in students’ academic ceremonies.
- Tracking indicators and evidence for the program’s accreditation processes, while driving engagement with companies and other universities.
- Addressing parents’ questions and concerns regarding academic matters, providing close and timely attention.
3. What are we looking for?
- Doctoral degree in Industrial Physics, Applied Physics, Optics, Photonics, or related field, with experience in semiconductors.
- International professional experience and industry experience (recommended), preferably in the semiconductor sector.
- Graduated from a Top 150 university according to the QS Ranking, or with academic stays at top universities.
- Leadership in the Applied Industrial Physics discipline.
- Advanced English proficiency (B2, TOEFL 600 pts).
