What will you do?
The role involves driving research in basic and applied science, increasing publications in JCR-indexed journals, and participating in scientific conferences. Responsibilities include collaborating on projects that strengthen the research line, supporting academic activities, and teaching specialized courses and workshops. The position also entails contributing to science outreach activities, full dedication to research, participation in academic committees, writing and publishing scientific articles, presenting at national and international conferences, and mentoring students in research stays and academic service.
Your main challenges will be:
- Supporting the preparation of research proposals for resource attraction and/or funding.
- Publishing articles in high-impact, SCOPUS-indexed journals.
- Establishing collaboration networks with other researchers.
- Training human resources through participation in master’s or doctoral thesis committees.
- Taking part in science outreach activities such as training, seminars, and/or workshops that strengthen your research line.
What are we looking for?
I. Education
Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, or related fields.
This position requires advanced professional proficiency in English.
II. Professional Experience
Research experience in electrochemistry, catalysis, reaction engineering, separations, or reactor design. Advanced knowledge of computational methods and the use of artificial intelligence tools for research. Candidates with experience in computational chemical engineering will be given priority (e.g., transport models, microkinetics, molecular dynamics, or atomistic models).
