What will you do?
The position is responsible for driving research in basic and applied sciences, increasing scientific output through publications in JCR-indexed journals and participation in specialized conferences. It also involves collaboration on projects that strengthen the defined research line, supporting academic activities, teaching specialized courses and workshops, and participating in science dissemination activities that contribute to the institution’s visibility.
- Full dedication to research.
- Participation in research committees.
- Writing scientific articles.
- Presentations at national and international conferences.
- Mentoring students in research internships and scholarship programs.
- Preparation of research proposals.
Your main challenges will be:
- Attracting research funding.
- Publishing articles in high-impact, SCOPUS-indexed journals.
- Establishing collaborative networks with other researchers.
- Training human resources through participation in master’s or doctoral thesis committees.
- Participating in science outreach activities, including training, seminars, and/or workshops that strengthen your research line.
What are we looking for?
- Solid academic background in areas related to energy, environment, electrochemistry, catalysis, reaction engineering, separation processes, or reactor design.
- Research experience in energy, environment, electrochemistry, catalysis, reaction engineering, separations, or reactor design.
- Advanced skills in computational methods applied to research.
- Experience using artificial intelligence tools for research.
- Priority will be given to candidates with experience in computational chemical engineering, including transport models, microkinetics, molecular dynamics, and atomistic models.
