POSDTDOCTORAL and MID-CAREER FELLOWSHIPS AT TEC DE MONTERREY, CAMPUS MONTERREY

The School of Social Sciences and Government of the Tec de Monterrey (https://tec.mx/es/profesores/ecsg) invites applications for postdoctoral research scholarships in the areas of political economy, construction of state capacities, regime change, subnational politics and human development. Other responsibilities include contributing to the preparation and presentation of technical cooperation requests with multilateral development banks, promoting the advancement of the intellectual community and the associated dissemination efforts.

Applicants will work as a team with Sebastián Mazzuca, member of the Tec Faculty of Excellence Program, and will be considered at all ranks. The start date is negotiable but should be no later than Jan 2025. The duration of the appointment will be one year with the possibility of renewal for a second year.

Additional Information

Campus Monterrey has an up-and-coming vibrant and supportive community of young research scholars in political science, political economy, and economics with many trained in outstanding research universities in the US and Europe. The postdoc will have centrally located office space on campus in the political science department with opportunities to teach and work with undergraduates. Travel funds are available for travel to a conference or two to present work in progress at APSA, Midwest, etc.
