PostDoctoral Position at IFE

The Institute for the future of Education (https://tec.mx/en/ife) has been created to generate, transfer, and disseminate applicable knowledge on educational innovation in an experimental, interdisciplinary, open, and world-class way, connecting, inspiring, and accompanying those who seek disruptive solutions for the future of higher education and lifelong learning.

The Institute for the Future of Education (IFE) invites early-career, ambitious researchers to apply for postdoctoral positions to develop interdisciplinary research at a world-class level as part of the Research Lab of the IFE.  This position is a one-year contract (renewable for one additional year in case of outstanding performance). 

The institute focuses on four main key themes:

2. Accessible: Cater to different learners’ needs and contexts.
3. Inclusive: Higher Education and Lifelong learning opportunities for all segments of the population.
4. Relevant/Responsive: Meet the Dynamic changing needs of industries and society.

Requirements:

● Must have earned a Ph.D. degree in the following areas of knowledge: Educational Sciences, Humanities, Statistics, Mathematics, Computation, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, Psychology, or related Disciplinary areas.

● Has outstanding leadership potential and commitment to developing an exciting and innovative research agenda to produce high scientific impact, technology development, or opportunities to develop technology-based entrepreneurship in educational innovation. Experience in the formulation of theoretical frameworks, design and validation of construct measurement instruments, statistical analysis is preferred. In addition, skills such as writing funding projects and manuscripts for publication are preferred.

● Published at least one scientific journal article indexed in Scopus.

● Previous experience in the discipline is desirable (for example, participation in international research or development projects, research stay, or previous postdoctoral stays).

● A team player open to interdisciplinary collaboration.

● Demonstrated oral and written English skills at least at the level of B2 in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages. Spanish proficiency is desirable but not a requirement.

The job responsibilities will include the successful completion of the research project, publication of research findings in high-impact journals (Q1/Q2), attracting research funding, intellectual property registration, and technology transfer.
