What will you do? (Role Objective)

As Graduate Program Director in Applied Artificial Intelligence, you will join one of the leading higher education institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the world’s top universities and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.

This position responds to the need to strengthen the academic training and student experience of the Master’s in Applied Artificial Intelligence program, with the goal of consolidating its academic quality, professional relevance, and international projection within the School of Engineering and Sciences.

In this role, you will contribute to the development of entrepreneurial leaders with a human-centered vision, support students in their academic journey, and reinforce Tecnológico de Monterrey’s institutional positioning at both national and international levels.

2. How will you do it? (Responsibilities/Challenges)

Your main challenges will include:

• Leading and mentoring students, promoting academic and formative activities (conferences, competitions, workshops, academic trips, etc.).

• Advising students on course selection and monitoring academic progress, graduation requirements, and distinctions.

• Managing special projects and program initiatives (accreditations, scholarships, pilots, campus/school initiatives).

• Promoting international experiences and industry engagement.

• Participating in student recruitment and retention processes, strengthening the program’s image and positioning.

• Monitoring key performance indicators: internationalization, employability, entrepreneurship, retention, and graduation efficiency.

3. What are we looking for? (Requirements)

• PhD in Artificial Intelligence or related disciplines.

• English proficiency at B2 (advanced).

• Teaching and student advising experience.

• Strong service orientation, teamwork, and communication skills with diverse audiences.

• Proactive, innovative, and results-driven profile.

• Preferred: graduates from universities ranked within the Top 50 in the QS World University Ranking.
