Full-Time Research Professor

The School of Architecture, Art, and Design at Tec is the only national school in Mexico specializing in these areas of knowledge. We have a nationwide impact through our presence in 9 cities and 12 campuses, where we offer our three comprehensive programs in Architecture, Design, Animation, and Digital Art. We have over 5,800 students and more than 670 faculty members. This makes us the only school in Mexico that provides academic mobility between our campuses, in addition to our extensive international network.

Currently, within the School of Architecture, Art, and Design, there is a need to strengthen the research area in architecture and architectural projects, with particular attention to theoretical and critical work in the field of architecture. Due to the nature of research work in this thematic line, we are seeking talent with specific capacity and experience in interdisciplinary work.

Additionally, we are implementing the new educational model "Tec21," which requires not only a strong passion for teaching design but also experience in real-world projects and the ability to develop initiatives that not only engage in the global conversation of the field but also contribute from our unique context.

This opportunity as a research professor is for you if:

• You hold a Master's and Doctorate in fields related to architecture.
• You have proven experience as a researcher in the area of architectural design, evidenced by high-level publications.
• You have teaching experience in the fields of architecture and architectural projects.
• You have participated in at least one research project funded by a public or private institution and are familiar with funding processes for research projects.
• You possess an advanced level of English (B2 level or a minimum of 550 TOEFL points).
