What will you do?

As a Full-Time Professor, your teaching activities will be enriched by an academic and professional background that brings a distinctive mark of innovation and leadership to your students, grounded in the principles, values, and vision of Tec de Monterrey’s current strategic plan. In addition to your teaching duties, you will foster academic partnerships with prestigious international universities to help shape future leaders in information technologies and digital transformation. You will also engage global companies to participate as Training Partners in the development of your students.

 

How will you do it?

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Teaching courses within the Department of Computer Science, primarily those related to Information Technologies and Digital Transformation, such as: a) Blockchain b) IT Management c) Data Analytics and Visualization d) Use of AI tools for information analysis e) Strategies for process and business digitalization
  • Conducting research in Computer Science, preferably in areas related to Information Technologies and Digital Transformation, to develop new knowledge and disseminate it through publications in journals and conferences.
  • Engaging in educational innovation research to promote the design and implementation of new teaching and learning methods in Computer Science, particularly in areas related to Information Technologies and Digital Transformation.
  • Participating in academic committees and councils within the Department of Computer Science, especially in areas related to Information Technologies and Digital Transformation.
  • Collaborating in faculty working groups to design new curricula and improve existing academic programs.
  • Supporting student recruitment and retention efforts in programs affiliated with the Department of Computer Science.

 

What are we looking for?

  • PhD in Computer Science, Information Technologies, or related fields aligned with the department’s academic offerings.
  • Minimum of 3 years of teaching experience or involvement in research projects, educational innovation, consulting, or information systems development.
  • Preferred: PhD obtained from a university ranked in the Top 100 of the QS World University Rankings (QS-WUR).
