1. What will you do?

As a Full Time Faculty of the Language Department, you will join one of the leading higher education institutions in Latin America, consistently ranked among the top universities worldwide and recognized for its academic excellence, educational innovation, and international outlook.

This position arises in response to the need to grow the General Education offering and guarantee the quality of the teaching of English as a foreign language, with the goal of strengthening the Language ​​program

within the Humanities and Education School.

From this role, you will contribute to the development of highly competitive students, the strengthening of the academic faculty, and the institutional positioning of Tecnológico de Monterrey at both national and international levels, through an academic practice aligned with global standards of quality, impact, and relevance.

2. How will you do it?

Your main challenges will include:

• Teach classes of the Language Department and other departments as needed in general education in English.

• Teach and/or coordinate the Language courses with good results.

• Participate in and propose promotion and connection events (workshops, conferences, magazine,

       among others).

• Participate in the academic communities of the subjects you teach and design.

• Participate in linking the department with companies and institutions outside TEC.

• Participate in the Writing Center activities.

• Participate in key projects of the Languages Department (social service, magazine)

3. What are we looking for?

• Master's Degrees in Teaching English as Second Language; Master in Linguistics; Master's Degree in English Language and Literature; Doctorate in Foreign Language Teaching; PhD in Linguistics; PhD in English Language and Literature.
• English C1 verified.
• It is necessary to have experience in teaching English as a foreign language.
• Experience in language teaching in general.
• Knowledge of the Common European Framework of Languages.
• Important aspects to meet the profile: teamwork, proactivity, human sense, use of technology, tolerance to change.
