What will you do?
You will lead the academic experience by monitoring, managing, and promoting the proper development of student competencies, while supporting their engagement in academic activities and experiences that strengthen their graduation profile.

  • Advise students in the selection of program, structure, concentrations, and in the planning/registration of their academic journey.

  • Ensure proper integration, enrollment, and academic follow-up of students, fostering their self-management.

  • Manage information and coordinate with directors and areas for academic and course planning.

  • Promote and follow up on international experiences, distinctions, competitions, and academic events.

  • Address academic concerns from students and parents, as well as manage processes before accrediting bodies.

Your main challenges will be:

  • Implement actions to monitor and improve the student academic experience.

  • Monitor, manage, and promote the proper development of student competencies.

  • Ensure academic quality of IBT students by guiding them through curricular options, international opportunities, internships, concentrations, and external engagement.

  • Monitor indicators and evidence, and generate self-study reports required by accrediting agencies.

  • Strengthen the program’s ties with companies and other universities.

What are we looking for?

  • PhD in Biotechnology, Bioprocesses, or a related field, with experience in technology development and manipulation of biological systems and biomolecules for the creation of technology-based products (preferably graduated from a Top 200 QS-ranked university).

  • Teaching experience and student advising skills.

  • International experience (desirable).

  • Advanced English (minimum TOEFL 600).
