Postdoctoral Researcher in Materials Science for Hydrogen Production

What will you do?


Contribute to scientific and technological advancement through the development of new semiconductor materials for hydrogen generation as a renewable energy source, with a fully sustainable approach. This position is fully dedicated to the project, focusing on the synthesis and characterization of new materials, as well as electrochemical evaluation to determine their hydrogen production capabilities. It will be a key role in coordinating and executing an interdisciplinary research project focused on nanomaterials for renewable energy applications.

 

  • Develop and characterize different nanomaterials.
  • Plan and conduct electrochemical experiments.
  • Coordinate and execute the project according to the activity timeline.
  • Utilize AI for nanomaterials property simulations.
  • Manage logistics and follow-up with external service providers.
  • Coordinate project-related activities with graduate students.
  • Create and maintain a database with information on the developed materials.

 

Your main challenges will be:

 

  • Physicochemical characterization of the developed nanomaterials.
  • Evaluation of the materials’ performance in hydrogen generation.
  • Property prediction using AI tools
  • Writing scientific articles.
  • Developing international research proposals to attract funding.

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • PhD in Nanotechnology, Materials Science, or Electrochemistry.
  • Background in materials development and applications, chemistry.
  • Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level or 600 TOEFL score)
