Full-Time Professor of  Civil Engineering

What will you do?

Strengthen the Civil Engineering department. We are looking for candidates with experience in the design of hydraulic systems and installations. Selected candidates will teach key subjects within the curriculum and develop high-impact research and innovation projects.

Your main challenges will be:

• Conducting research.
• Participating in extension/consulting projects defined by the department.
• Developing teaching materials for your courses and publishing results through outputs such as books and articles.
• Educational innovation, with a teaching approach that includes a high level of innovation.

What are we looking for?

• Ph.D. in Civil Engineering with a specialization in Hydraulics

• University-level teaching experience is desirable

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in both Spanish and English (minimum level B2 or equivalent to 550 TOEFL points)

• Ability to prepare funding proposals, experimental plans, and technical reports

• Capability to conduct applied research independently and collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams

• Experience in using specialized software for hydraulic networks
