What will you do?

Lead the Transformation of Engineering and Science. Drive academic growth, applied research, and industry engagement at Campus Estado de México, a key region for technology, manufacturing, and the industrial sector in Mexico. 

 

Your main challenges will be:

  • Implement and lead the national strategies of the School of Engineering and Sciences, ensuring their adaptation to the needs of Campus Estado de México and its industrial and technological ecosystem.

  • Develop and strengthen the faculty by promoting continuous training and development through professional development programs, mentorship, and opportunities for collaboration with industry and applied research.

  • Boost internationalization for students and faculty by establishing strategic partnerships with prestigious global universities and institutions, fostering academic mobility, exchange programs, and international collaborative projects.

  • Lead and coordinate academic teams (Program, Entry, and Department Directors) to ensure:

    • Academic excellence and high educational standards.

    • Innovative learning experiences aligned with the Tec21 Model.

    • Professional development for faculty, with access to training and collaboration opportunities with industry and global academia.

    • A positive and collaborative organizational environment that fosters inclusion and leadership.

    • Efficient resource management and optimization of academic processes.

  • Strengthen student recruitment and retention, ensuring the enrollment of top talent and meeting campus attraction goals.

  • Develop strategic alliances with industry and government to promote applied research, innovation, and student employability.

  • Foster interdisciplinary collaboration and connections with other campuses to promote academic excellence and high-impact global research.

  • Ensure the integration of the School with other campus areas, including student leadership initiatives, holistic education, and entrepreneurship.

 

What are we looking for?

    • PhD in Engineering or Sciences (or equivalent experience in research, technological development, or academic leadership).

    • Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level or TOEFL 600).

    • Academic leadership experience (in roles such as Program, Entry, or Department Director) or experience managing high-performance teams.

    • Proven track record as a teacher and/or researcher with impact on student development and innovative projects.

    Key skills:

    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

    • International outlook to build connections with universities, companies, and global organizations.
