What will you do?
Currently, within the School of Architecture, Art, and Design, there is a strong interest in strengthening research in systemic design, with a particular focus on fostering collaboration between international research networks and centers. Given the nature of this position, we seek talent with exceptional interdisciplinary skills and experience in bridging the public and private sectors.
Additionally, at Tecnológico de Monterrey, we are implementing the new "Tec21" educational model, which requires a strong passion for teaching design as well as experience with real-world projects. This educational model demands the creation of projects that contribute to the global conversation on design practice.
What are we looking for?
- A Master’s and a Ph.D. in design-related fields.
- A solid background in design, effective communication skills, the ability to motivate and guide students, and a passion for teaching and innovation.
- Ability to lead and develop high-impact projects at both national and international levels.
- Experience with materials, prototyping, and specialized design software.
- Strong management skills, including class coordination, group facilitation, and project supervision.
- A strong commitment to engaging with Design students and promoting the discipline among various audiences.
- A dedication to high-quality teaching, demonstrated through student evaluations or previous experience.
- Research experience in systemic design, supported by high-level publications.
- Teaching experience in design fields and a proven interest in educational innovation in these areas.
- Participation in research projects funded by public or private institutions, with knowledge of funding opportunities and application processes.
- Advanced English proficiency (minimum B2 level or 550 TOEFL points).
