Postdoctoral Researcher – Vehicular Traffic Simulation
Location: Monterrey Campus

What will you do?
The successful candidate will be engaged to support the development of research in the areas of food process engineering, water activity, functional foods and the utilization of by-products, as well as to support the research work of undergraduate and postgraduate students linked to the aforementioned project. The candidate will be working in close collaboration with Dr. Jorge Welti-Chanes at the main project Food Security and Nutrition.
Your main challenges will be:

A mathematical model in the area of nonparametric statistics to monitor processes.

Articles submitted to journals indexed in the JCR.
-
Publications submitted to peer-reviewed conferences indexed in SCOPUS.

Participation as a member of master’s or doctoral thesis committees.
What are we looking for?
- PhD in Data Science, Systems, Statistics, Statistical Engineering, Engineering Sciences, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Experience in transportation
- Excellent oral and writing skills in English.
- Ability to develop mathematical, statistical and computational analysis of experimental data.
- Ability to coordinate experimental work of undergraduate and graduate students.
