1. ¿What will you do?

As Innovation Ecosystem Leader, your main challenge will be to ensure the correct structuring, execution, and monitoring of the strategic project portfolio of the Innovation Directorate, while progressively supporting the coordination of Tec de Monterrey’s innovation ecosystem (Expedition, the Innovation Hub and Monterrey Innovation District activities, CORE Labs, the Technology Licensing Office, the Innovation District in Mexico City, and science- and technology-based startups).

2. ¿ How will you do it?

Your main challenges will be:

• Consolidate, structure, and follow up on the portfolio of strategic projects (EBCT, IP, HUB, funding, alliances), translating strategic initiatives into clear roadmaps, milestones, and KPIs.
• Monitor progress, risks, dependencies, and deviations across the portfolio, ensuring alignment with the objectives of the Vice Presidency for Research and Vision 2030.
• Provide operational follow-up to key initiatives: implementation of the EBCT model, development of the Innovation Hub (virtual and physical), funding and scaling programs, and IP and licensing processes.
• Coordinate and facilitate interaction among institutes, schools, research centers, technology transfer and entrepreneurship teams, and external allies (companies, government, universities).
• Design and maintain monitoring dashboards and executive reports (KPIs, progress, risks, impact), ensuring traceability and organization of project information and documentation.
• Support selected meetings and activities with external stakeholders (company partners, investors, government, startups), ensuring follow-up and integration of information into our internal tools.

3. ¿ What are we looking for?

If you have a background in Business Administration, Engineering, Computer Science or related areas (preferably), experience working in project management and planning, use of project management tools (e.g. Microsoft Project, Asana, Jira, Monday, Wrike, etc.), execution and assurance of project scopes, participation in complex projects, and your skills include, PRINCE2, or certifications in agile methodologies (Scrum Master, Agile PM) (desirable), we are looking for you.
