What will you do? (Role objective)

As Director of an International Delegation, your main challenge will be to build academic networks.

You will identify and implement the best opportunities for knowledge creation and technology transfer to the Tec.

You will design, coordinate, and implement the internationalization strategy according to the region’s specific needs and opportunities, working alongside our institutional partners.

You will also engage in academic and research activities in collaboration with these institutions.

How will you do it? (Key activities and challenges)

Conducting research in the field relevant to this position.

Identifying opportunities for academic and research collaboration with schools and departments at partner institutions.

Managing current programs with partner institutions or others in the region.

Implementing new programs focused on: student mobility, faculty development, joint research projects, global classroom programs, academic exchange, research internships, and visiting faculty opportunities.

Representing Tecnológico de Monterrey while building partnerships with organizations, businesses, and institutions in the region.

Maintaining valuable connections with EXATEC alumni in the region.

Supporting current and future institutional initiatives.

What are we looking for? (Requirements)

Doctoral degree (preferred), or a master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Business, Entrepreneurship, or related fields.

Proven experience in research.

International experience as a professor, researcher, or program developer.

Ongoing and demonstrable academic research activity.

Active relationships with academic partners and institutions in the region.

Verified experience teaching in English.

Strong skills in networking and clear communication.

Availability to travel.

Advanced English proficiency.
