Postdoctoral Researcher – AI Neurotecnología y Neurociencia

What will you do?

To advance research and innovation at the intersection of neurotechnology, digital neuroscience, neuroengineering, medicine, the humanities, and explainable AI, with the goal of improving the human condition and promoting human well-being.

Your main challenges will be:

1. Possesses, understands, and applies comprehensive knowledge in their area of specialization. Develops the understanding and skills required to perform tasks across multiple areas of specialization. Develops leadership and management skills.

2. Travel between different campuses is expected.

3. Receives and reviews progress reports and evaluates the results of experiments or projects under their control or supervision.

4. Recommends changes to research, testing, or experimental procedures.

5. May be responsible for a single highly technical and complex research team.

6. May review and evaluate the effectiveness of laboratory personnel.

7. May plan and assign personnel (students) to projects under their supervision.

8. Exercises autonomy in making decisions without direct supervision.

9. May work under general supervision, consulting with senior management only in exceptional circumstances.

10. Performs other job-related duties as required.

What are we looking for?

A qualified candidate with a Ph.D. in Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Electrical Engineering, and extensive knowledge of Artificial Intelligence, with expertise in at least one of the following fields: neurotechnology, digital neuroscience, engineering, or humanities.

Experience working on collaborative research projects in academic or industrial/business environments.

Publications in scientific journals.

Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).

Excellent knowledge of AI tools and technologies.

Strong writing skills and excellent verbal and written communication abilities.

Discretion, patience, organizational skills, leadership, and teamwork.

Willingness to undertake some domestic and international travel.

Certifications in Human Subjects Research Training.

Knowledge of Responsible Conduct of Research (RCR).
